Alain Labat has more than 30 years of senior and global management experience. Alain co-founded Harvest Management Partners (HMP) in July 2010. At Harvest, he has been focusing on building their automotive practice. Fiat Chrysler Automotive (FCA) became their first advisory client in 2011, followed by TE Connectivity Automotive in 2015, Silicon Mobility in 2016 and more recently Sirius XM Connected Cars in 2017.

Prior to starting HMP, he was President and CEO of VaST Systems, which was acquired by Synopsys (SNPS) in February 2010. Prior to VaST, from 1998 to 2002, he co-founded of Sequence Design and was President and CEO. Sequence Design is now part of ANSYS (ANSS). Further, Alain has been an Entrepreneurial Partner at Menlo Ventures for their Semiconductor/EDA practice, investor, and board member of Xpedion Design, which was acquired by Keysight Technologies (KEYS), and Jasper Design acquired by Cadence Design Systems (CDNS). He joined Synopsys in 1990 as Vice President of International Operations and was promoted to various management positions including Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales and Marketing in 1996 overseeing several milestones including its IPO.

Alain holds a Diploma from INSEEC, France, and an MBA from the Thunderbird, The School of Global Management, in Glendale, Arizona.

Kyle A. Park, Managing Director

Kyle Park has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, M&A transactions, strategic advisory and leading both early-stage and public technology companies.  Before co-founding Harvest Management Partners, he was Chief Financial Officer of VaST Systems, a global provider of embedded software and virtualization technology.  VaST was acquired by Synopsys (SNPS) in February 2010.

Prior to that, Kyle was CFO of several start-ups including Jasper Design Automation, ReShape and etNetworks. He has raised more than $250M in venture financing in his career. Kyle has also held senior management positions at three public companies, Niku (NIKU; acquired by Computer Associates in 2005), Synplicity (SYNP; acquired by Synopsys in 2008) and Synopsys (SNPS). His first position in Silicon Valley was with Samsung Semiconductor.

An avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, mainly soccer and cycling, Kyle also enjoys traveling to Europe where he speaks, reads and writes Italian conversationally. Among his other passions, he includes organic farming and great wine.

Kyle received his Bachelor’s degree in finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and completed his MBA from the Santa Clara University, Leavey School of Business with a concentration in International Finance.
